Do you wonder why good leaders in Church suddenly disappear without saying "Good-bye!"? Maybe what happened to Joseph, also happened to them.
Potifar's wife falsely accused Joseph of a wrong deed because he shun away her evil seductions. Joseph got imprisoned eventually for a crime he didn't commit. But God vindicated him later. - Genesis 39
This is the same pattern corrupt Church leaders do to their best "slaves" when they leave because these good people could no longer submit to their leader's corrupt practices. Yet these hypocrites cause people in Church to believe their slanders and accusations that were not proven true, but it becomes truth only because they said it. Only because they are in "authority." Yeah, right. The question is whose authority?
The worse part is, in secret, the rest of the "slaves" in Potifar's house are going in bed with Mrs. Potifar because they are so afraid of being slandered and would not depart from the fame of serving Potifar, the chief bodyguard of Pharoah. So they sleep with her again and again until their eyes pop out of their heads and become the blind slaves that they are up to this day.
Joseph was in the dungeon for more than a decade because these "prostitute" slaves won't speak up the truth about Joseph and stand up against Mrs. Potifar and her abuse of power. But God saw what actually happened and He used that incident to exalt this righteous man from the dungeon to becoming the 2nd most powerful ruler in the land.
